Mohammad Hanafiah Kreah Sunway Medical Centre

Dr Mohammad Hanafiah graduated from University of Glasgow, Scotland in 2005. He obtained his FRCR (UK) in 2012 and completed radiology training (Doctor in Radiology) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2013. His primary interests are in chest imaging inclusive of interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary infections, COPD and intrathoracic malignancies, and secondary interest in cardiac imaging. He was a Consultant Radiologist and Associate Professor of radiology at the Faculty of Medicine, UiTM from 2017 to 2021. As a researcher he had published his research outputs in various international journals, had written many chapters in books and had written a book entitled “Chest X-ray Made Easy for Medical Students and Junior Doctors” in 2020. He had been an invited speaker for various National and International Conferences. His work was recognised when he received various awards including a Gold Medal for National e-content development competition and Strategic Initiative Project Best Achiever Award in 2019.
