Leong Ming Chern National Heart Institute

Dr. Leong is a consultant paediatric cardiologist specialising in Adults with Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) at the National Heart Institute of Malaysia (IJN). He received his medical degree from the University of Malaya in 2003. After completing his training in General Paediatrics, he received his fellowship training for Paediatric Cardiology at the National Heart Institute of Malaysia. He then undertook specialty fellowship training in ACHD at the National Heart Institute as well as the Royal Brompton Hospital Trust, London. His clinical interests include long-term care of adults with congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension in adults with congenital heart disease. Dr Leong is currently a Deputy Head of Department, Council members of the Malaysian Society of Paediatric Cardiology and Sub-editor for CHiP Network in ACHD.
