Cheah Wee Kooi Hospital Taiping

Dr. Cheah Wee Kooi is a geriatrician and currently he is the head of geriatric and clinical research centre of Taiping Hospital. He graduated from the University of Malaya in 2003 and holds MBBS MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom in 2006. He went on to study geriatric medicine at Kuala Lumpur Hospital and University of Malaya Medical Centre in Malaysia, and Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore. He holds several positions at the state and national level and has clinical interest in cognitive and dementia. He plays an active role in patient support groups, namely the Diabetes Malaysia (Taiping) and Perak Parkinson Association. Dr. Cheah is active in teaching, for both public and healthcare professionals and has scientific publications at national and international levels.
