Hui-Leng Tan Royal Brompton Hospital

Dr Hui-leng Tan studied medicine at the University of Cambridge. She completed her general paediatric training at Addensbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge and Birmingham Children's Hospital. Subsequently, she pursued her paediatric respiratory medicine training at Royal Brompton and Great Ormond Street hospitals. Her expertise includes non-invasive ventilation children with sleep-disordered breathing (SDB). She has participated in research into sleep-disordered breathing in children. Dr Tan has spoken at the North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference and the International Congress on Paediatric Pulmonology. She has presented her work at several international conferences, including European Respiratory Society Conference, International Paediatric Sleep Association Conference and European Cystic Fibrosis Conference. She has published in journals such as Sleep and the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. Currently, Dr Tan is the consultant in paediatric respiratory and sleep medicine at Royal Brompton Hospital. She works closely with the paediatric long-term ventilation and adult sleep teams.
