PhD awarded by Newcastle University, United Kingdom in 2019. Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom since 2019. Basic and Translational Research specialized on the generation of in vitro cellular models of lung diseases, particularly idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and cystic fibrosis. Special interests: gene-editing technologies, induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) research, in vitro cellular models, disease modelling, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), cystic fibrosis (CF), differentiation of iPSCs into alveolar type II cells, iPSC-derived organoids, complex immunocompetent models for personalized medicine purposes.
